Songs of Home, an exhibition at the Museum of Sydney tells the little-known story of the music played and enjoyed in NSW during the first 70 years of the colony.

The exhibition includes rare instruments, music scores and actual recordings of this music, as performed by modern musicians. With me on the line this morning is Matthew Stephens, curator and research librarian, from the Museum of Sydney.
