Surprising Koala Behaviours
Even though koalas are iconically Australian, your average Aussie may not know that much about them. Darcy Watchorn is not your average Aussie, he’s a Threatened Species Biologist in the Wildlife Conservation and Science Department at Zoos Victoria, and a Visiting Scholar in the School of Life and Environmental Science at Deakin University. A recent study of his revolved solely around koalas, where he noticed some surprising anomalies to the typical behaviour of these marsupials.
