For a lot of us, our interaction with dance doesn’t go past the club dancefloor or the comforts of the bedroom but for some, it’s their entire world. But how does one actually take the leap (so to speak) into dance as a career. What does it take?

The Pre-Professional Year or PPY, at Sydney Dance Company, is a course that teaches just that. Victor was joined in the studio with PPY Course Director Linda Gamblin and Course Coordinator Omer Backley-Astrachan, to discuss the course itself and the annual PPY18 Revealed showcase that hit the stage at Carriageworks.
