Sydney Metro ‘Communication Issues’
According to a spokeswoman for Transport for NSW, a ‘communication issue’ between the operations centre and the trains in the depot during preparations for the start of Metro Services was the cause of the delays Tuesday morning. This caused the metro to stall services between Tallawong and Chatswood for two hours. Dr Geoffery Clifton, Senior Lecturer in Transport and Logistics Management at the University of Sydney, joined us to talk through it.
