Terms and misconceptions: reading before agreeing

How often do you accept the terms of conditions without even skimming through what you are actually agreeing to?

The usual annoyance is agreeing to give some information to a third party service for marketing purposes, though what if you agreed to cleaning 1000 toilets or giving up your first born child?

In June 2015, an average of 4.23 million Australians had used a public wifi hotspot, which was reported by the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Majority would not have read the terms and conditions.

Myles Houlbrook-Walk discussed with Dr David Tuffley from Griffith University why we need to be reading before agreeing to the terms and conditions.
