It’s time to say no to plastic bags at the supermarket

How many times have you reached the supermarket checkout and realised you forgot to bring your own bag, so you’re forced to use plastic?
Bringing a reusable bag is easy to forget, but one community group is trying to make you remember – and they’re doing that by getting you to make the bag yourself.
They’re called Boomerang Bags and they’re a group of volunteers who get together and sew reusable shopping bags out of recycled materials, so you can refuse plastic bags at the checkout.
