Too Political To Stay

Sydney street artist Crisp, recently painted a mural to highlight the importance of voting. He had permission from the owner of the wall, bought the paint himself, and was hoping to motivate people to consider their political actions and take voting seriously.

Unfortunately though, someone in the community deemed it “too political”. They defaced the work on it’s first night and robbed locals of the opportunity to see the completed piece. Crisp joined the Thursday Daily’s Willy Russo to talk through what went down.
