Why Uber for Women is not discriminatory
The announcement of an Uber-style service for women only drivers caters a service that offers transportation for women and children passengers to eliminate the fear and safety risks associated with transportation.
While this can be seen as a positive service for some, it controversially discriminates against gender and opens up the conversation on whether feminism has gone too far.
