On Tuesday this week one of the largest unions in Australia, The Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (NSW branch) placed a Green Ban on 2 historically significant sites in Parramatta.

The Premier and the NSW Government wants to demolish 2 historic buildings to build the new Powerhouse Museum. The problem is, not many people are behind them.

Why move and dissolve a fantastic Museum loved by all? Why demolish some of Sydney’s most important cultural and environmental heritage to do so? Is the Government listening to the people?
