When The Beatles Donated ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ to the Rolling Stones – Under the Covers
On this day 61 years ago, the Rolling Stones released their first UK hit single, ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’, but if you’re a Beatles fan, you’ll know they wrote and also recorded the song for their second album.
This week, Max and Thomas looked back at the original release, but not original recording of ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’, and uncovered how the Rolling Stones ended up with a song written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
You can catch Under the Covers on Friday Drive at 4:30pm.
