Despite our hopes that it might be crucial in regards to gaining superpowers, the reality is that nuclear power is expensive, potentially dangerous and decades away from powering our homes and businesses.
Conversely renewable energy from the sun and wind is cheap, abundant, safe, freely available. While the move to clean energy is still not happening fast enough, it is underway and starting to speed up. So, why is the Coalition going all in on nuclear power?
