On this week’s episode of Renewable Energy Update Dr. Matt Wright, spoke with 2SER’s Jack Gembitsky about the Hazlewood Coal Fire Plant in Victoria, and how it will become the site of Australia’s first big battery installation. Shut down in 2017, the Hazlewood Plant is now leading the way in the transition from coal fired stations into renewable energy production, and is going to be the model to follow as other states in Australia begin their renewable energy transition.
