‘Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru’ Exhibition

The Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru exhibition invites audiences on a fascinating journey through the rich history of ancient Peru. With a rich history spanning 14,000 years, this extraordinary experience offers a window into the wonders of Peruvian culture.

Held at the Australian Museum, the exhibition features over 130 breathtaking artefacts, including one of the most exceptional gold collections ever displayed!

In addition to the exhibition, visitors can take part in unique events, including an immersive Virtual Reality experience and a special culinary evening, Peru’sing the Menu: A Brief History of Ceviche, on Wednesday the 22nd. This event features a culinary journey led by award-winning Executive Chef Alejandro Saravia of Morena. Also, this special evening will include an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition with esteemed Andean archaeology expert Dr. Jacob Bongers.
