Huawei’s AI completes Schubert’s unfinished symphony
One of the great pieces of unfinished art is Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, which he left with only two of its movements completed before his death.
Well, the controversial Chinese technology company Huawei have decided to step in and take a stab at finishing the symphony with the help of an artificial intelligence.
The piece recently had its premiere in London who were both eager to hear a finished version of Schubert’s symphony, and whether AI could actually compose a good piece of music.
