Should all cereals have a health star rating?
A bowl of cereal is a staple morning meal for many of us, but sometimes it’s hard to weed out the healthy from the not so healthy.
The health star rating is a voluntary system where manufacturers get their product rated on a 1-5 scale – with 5 being the most healthy, and 1 being the least.
But what separates a 1 from a 5? And how does that influence what cereal consumers are buying?
