Beyond The Wall
Beyond The Wall takes the experiences of incarcerated youths in Australia and recontextualizes their story through dance. Gerard Veltre, the founder and artistic director of Phunktional, the Australian arts company putting on this performance went to justice centres working with boys 11-19 in order to share their stories and experiences and redirect that energy through dance.
