Black ANZAC
If you ever happened to walk down Lawson Street in Redfern over the past four years, there is no doubt you would have noticed a two-story high image of a Black Digger on the corner of a building near The Block. It was a striking image and it became a beloved icon of the area.
Hego, the artist that put it there along with filmmaker, Tim Anastasi, also documented planning, design and application of the image and then some of the reactions around it.
