For many of millions of women around Australia, buying pads and tampons is just another part of everyday life. Yet it remains that for some, affording these necessities can be difficult – surely women shouldn’t have to worry about being able to purchase basic needs? Recently Australian charity Essentials 4 Women implemented a scheme setting up free pad and tampon vending machines at schools, in order to help support disadvantaged communities.What would happen if we took this approach nationwide?
