Discussing Youth Mental Health
7th of October till 13th of October is known as Mental Health Week.
Tess sat down and spoke to Nick Duigan from Headspace,
Nick mention that at www.headspace.org.au/tips, here you can find tips on how to deal with mental health and how to overcome it.
Nick also mentions the best way to start a conversation with someone who is dealing with mental health is to just be specific, he states some examples such as “hey i’ve notice that you have been enjoying things like you uses to or you not doing as many things as you use to or I notice you seem a bit down.”
