A gas sniffing pill, travelling down your colon

If you have been watching Black Mirror over the past couple of weeks, you may be a little bit apprehensive of placing a tiny transmitting device inside your body. But researchers from RMIT may be able to change your mind. They have developed a swallowable capsule which is designed to measure intestinal gases and has the potential to help diagnose gastrointestinal issues. Doctor Kyle Berean is a Research Fellow at the RMIT School of Engineering and is a Co-Inventor of this pill who joined The Daily to discuss this.
