Happiness in a Vending Machine
We’re accustomed to using vending machine to satisfy our taste buds, but what if we could satisfy our mind from the same machines?
Well that is the idea behind the new art project which is in Sydney this week. Titled Intangible Goods, the artwork takes the form of a vending machine, but instead of people purchasing soft drinks or packets of chips, they can buy little packages of things such as Bravery, Purpose, or Connection.
The machine is coin operated, and all proceeds will go to mental health organisations beyondblue, The Mental Health Association NSW (Way Ahead), and The Schizophrenia Research Institute at NeuRA
