Interview With An Artist – Daniel Lopez
Each Thursday on the Daily at 11:45am we profile an Australian artist – be they a sculptor, painter, dancer, writer – someone working in the creative sphere.
Daniel Lopez is a Mexican born artist living and working in Sydney. He uses a variety of mediums to create his pieces and express his artistic vision. From sketching, to computer generated drawings, to jewelry design and sculpture, there is an interest, almost obsession, with lines and patterns throughout his work. This is most evident in his current exhibition at the GAFFA Creative Space on Clarence St in they CBD. The show is titled the Geography of Scars.
