Kids Swim Free for Learn2Swim Week
Australia is a country gurt by sea whether we are in the pool, at the beach, by the creek or in the swimming hole we love to cool off by the water. However, with drowning being the number one cause of accidental death of children under 5 it is imperative children learn to swim at an early age. This Monday 30th September marks the beginning of the annual Learn2Swim Week which encourages all children to learn the life-saving skill of swimming. Our producer Marlene Even spoke with Learn2swim week ambassador, and World Champion Swim coach Laurie Lawrence.
