Machine Learning and Bushfire Management
Drones and machine learning have been used to spot sharks off beaches. Our Producer Cameron Furlong ran a story with Dr Cormac Purcell who was working with the technology to apply it to different settings. One of those settings is bushfires.
Dr Purcell has been working with machine learning and satellite data for bushfire prevention. Coming into summer this technology could be pretty useful. This week Cameron joined Dr. Purcell again to find out all about it.
