Meggan Brummer and the Art of Living
The art of life. It’s one of the harder arts to master, but luckily we had some great guidance from Meggan Brummer, from The Art of Living, when she stopped by in the studio.
Meggan’s method of unlocking true calm and happiness comes from an intuitive physiological process: conscious breathing. With the right technique, deep breathing has been scientifically proven to aid in relieving anxiety, lowering remission rates for depression, lowering cortisol and the list goes on. Apparently, the age-old wisdom of taking a deep breath really does work.
So we put it to the test.
Listen to Bryce chat with Meggan about the meditation, happiness and the Art of Living above, or alternatively, listen to Megan’s 2 minutes guided meditation below. We promise you’ll feel a lot calmer.
Meggan facilitates a three-day workshop by the name of The Happiness Program. It’s part of the wider range of educational programs offered by The Art of Living, which is an international NGO that offers a variety of personal-development and trauma-relief programs around the world. You can find out more about it here.
