Paul Saintilan is a champion and advocate for the Australian music industry. Last week, the book ‘Musicians and Addiction: Research and Recovery Stories’ was released by Music Australia.

Paul acted as editor for the book which takes a look at numerous studies demonstrating the extraordinary vulnerability musicians have towards addiction and attempts to examine all the facets that contribute to the problem and suggest ideas for addressing it.

What is often seen as glamorous by the public is anything but with studies showing how serious the rates of depression, addiction, isolation and suicide are in the industry.
