New Robots Aiding Macquarie University Surgeons
The Macquarie University Hospital has recently acquired a new robot that will help surgeons complete minimally invasive operations on patients, including pancreatic, lung, head and neck surgeries. As robotic surgery is far less invasive than traditional surgery methods, patients experience a much faster recovery time. Professor David Gillatt, a surgeon at Macquarie University Hospital joins Brooke to discuss the new robotic surgery enhancements.
