With bushfires burning, pandemics raging and oceans rising all over the globe, there is an increasing call for a shift to sustainable practices in all sectors of society.
One area that is developing new and sustainable forms is urban planning. Sometimes overlooked, the big changes happening in this sector are never the less extremely important. A prime example of this comes from The University of Technology Sydney whose latest building, UTS Central, has recently been awarded a five star green rating for its sustainable design and operation.
But what does this five star green rating mean? And are there smaller ways to create a sustainable business?
