The importance of student well-being during the challenges of lockdown. Here’s how to help.
The recent NSW lockdown has forced students to undergo very drastic changes in regards to their learning. Despite this, the importance of student well-being remains paramount and should be prioritised during the challenges of remote learning. This shift from traditional classroom settings not only modifies the educational well-being of students but also their social well-being. Lecturer Nicole Brunker from the University of Sydney has joined 2SER today, to discuss her piece on student wellbeing. Brunker also is here to help parents or educators struggling to develop the skills of their children as well as support their struggle in what has been a difficult experience for students.
