WHO Is No Longer Classifying Transgender People As Mentally Ill
On Monday the United Nations Health Agency decided that transgenderism will not be considered a disease anymore. This change will be exposed at the World’s Health Assembly with the intention of making it legal on January 1st of 2022. The decision was made with the hope to created more tolerance towards transgender people and more acceptance for the new generations. It is well known that WHO’s is the main reason why there is such a stigma towards transgender since it was them who labelled it as a pathological disease. The have agreed that not only is gender incongruence not a health issue but neither sexual orientation arguing that people preferences cannot be diagnosed as a disease.
