ZSA ZSA (they/them) is a musician, producer and performer making alt-pop music exploring themes of love, care and identity. ZSA’s work often draws on their experience as a non-binary person, and explores the ways that gender, love and culture interact. They use altered voice, movement, guitar, electric drum pedals and percussion to create an intimate and full sound when performing solo. Their full live band includes themself (drums, vocals), Amy Kennett (synthesizers, percussion, vocals), Lottie Braun (vocals), Finn Jeffery Berryman (woodwinds, effects), Harnit Bharaj (electric guitar) and Louisa Christie (bass guitar). ZSA is currently completing their Honours in Contemporary Music at the Sydney Conservatorium, on the topic of gender non-conforming people in music and how they relate to their voice(s).
