Rebecca Huntley on the new Common Ground podcast
2ser is working with Guardian for a brand new podcast series, Common Ground. Each episode brings four very different Australians together and brings them into a conversation about the reality of political issues that are important. It’s helmed by journalist Lenore Taylor and social researcher Rebecca Huntley and they aim to bridge the digital divide in politics. The media battle ground has expanded, causing divisions among people, especially with everyone being in their own “bubble” when it comes to their beliefs. Lenore and Rebecca are looking for real conversations, as they have found that the true divisions which exist in politics aren’t entirely from the public concern. Nic spoke to Rebecca Huntley about why the time is so right for us to find Common Ground.
