This Day in History – 17th March
Sean Britten has once again presented his favourite Friday segment on all things famous. Famous events, famous birthdays and moments in the news where we all knew it would make the This Day in History segment. From the first Jews in the Lvov Ghetto are gassed in the Holocaust in 1942, to the Referendum in South Africa that ended the apharteid era in 1992. Of course we can’t forget that today is St Patrick’s Day, March 17th being the traditional death date for Saint Patrick, patron saint of Ireland.
