Genesis Owusu. He’s not an overnight sensation. Growing up in a musical family, migrating to Australia from Ghana, watching his elder brother carve his way into the Australian music scene to collaborating with him and then stepping out on his own with something fresh and exciting shows the character and ambition of this Canberran self-proclaimed music nerd.
His debut album, Smiling Without Teeth is finally out in the world and has exposed his talents, for not only writing lyrics, but for crafting songs that explore genres, feelings and the world around us.
