Graphic Warnings: Knowing What’s In Your Food
With over 60% of Australian adults being labelled as obese, there is a clear issue with unhealthy eating in our country. A solution has been offered to display graphic warnings on unhealthy food packaging, similar to that of cigarette packaging. This strategy is proven, with smoking prevalence declining at a steady rate each year. But one must consider whether this strategy is unethical and if it takes away from the rights of Australian food companies.
