INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY FUTURE STARS – BRITTANY ROURKE

Brittany Rourke is a 2SER volunteer and UTS student studying Music and Sound Design. With a love of contemporary film scores as well as very old (Baroque period) classical recorder, Brittany is proudly bold in her musical tastes and choices. In fact, her recorder playing has taken her to the stage of the Sydney Opera House many times and on an international tour. With a passion for developing her sound and pushing past gendered stereotypes relating to music and instrumentation, you can hear more on her Social Media and see some of her emerging video edits too on YouTube. Brittany has also started composing music for podcasts, with her work used as the intro and outro to the Entrepreneurs’ Association’s podcast series Scaling Impact, about the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which is currently in development.
