In 2018, it is estimated that 3,967 new cases of leukaemia will be diagnosed in Australia. The Leukaemia Foundation’s event will allow Australians to come together and transform the darkness into a sea of glowing light to beat blood cancer. Light the Night is in its 11th year and more than 35,000 Australians are expected to participate. The event’s unique lantern ceremony will take place across approximately 140 locations all over Australia. We spoke to Monique Cerreto, National Media Manager from The Leukemia Foundation.
