Do you remember your formal or prom??
It’s a milestone of growing up for young australians. The dressing up, the discussion of curfew from reluctant parents and of course the partner selections. But for Queer kids, a formal can feel like nothing more than a reminder of difference and exclusion.
Well tonight, there is a place for Queer kids to bring a same-sex partner, embrace their identity and express themselves however they want.
