Many speculate this is due to the large number of long running community organised events such as the Newtown Festival. From film festivals, to concerts, to markets peddling all manner of nicknacks, community organised events appear to scratch almost every itch. So what is the relationship between these community events and Sydney’s culture? How does it affect the creatives of our city?
