Sparking the electric car revolution in Australia

Electric car technology has been around for decades, and prices are dropping lower than they’ve ever been before- so why isn’t everybody driving them yet? Gail Broadbent, Post Graduate Researcher of Electric Vehicles at the University of NSW, and former NSW Transport Policy Advisor joined us to explain what needs to happen before electric cars become mainstream in Australia, including a widespread network of rechargers, better communication about the low cost of recharging, and combating “range anxiety”.
